1. About Settld

Settld ("we," "our," or "the Platform") is a domestic staffing search and matching service operating in the United Arab Emirates. We help families and individuals find suitable domestic help — including maids, nannies, tutors, and drivers — by searching, vetting, and shortlisting candidates on their behalf.

Settld is not a recruitment or hiring agency. We do not employ, sponsor, or provide work permits for any candidates.

2. Our Role

We provide a curated search and shortlisting service. Our role includes:

• Collecting your requirements via an intake form
• Searching our vetted database and external platforms
• Pre-screening and interviewing potential candidates
• Delivering a shortlist of 3–5 profiles with our honest assessment
• Advising on salary expectations, trial periods, and next steps
• Connecting you with authorized agencies or legal experts when needed

3. Your Responsibilities

The legal hiring process is entirely the responsibility of the family or individual. This includes but is not limited to:

• Conducting your own due diligence on any candidate
• Handling employment contracts and visa sponsorship
• Complying with UAE labor laws and domestic worker regulations
• Engaging authorized agencies or government channels for legal hiring
• Providing a safe and lawful working environment

Settld does not assume any liability for the employment relationship between you and any candidate.

4. Fees & Payment

Our search service is offered at a one-time fee as displayed on our pricing page. Payment is collected via secure payment links. One profile swap is included in the service fee. Refunds are not available once the shortlist has been delivered.

5. Guarantee Policy

If the hired candidate leaves or is dismissed within 3 months of the start date, you may return to Settld for a second search at a 50% discount on the service fee, subject to availability.

6. Limitation of Liability

Settld provides search and advisory services only. We are not liable for any actions, conduct, or performance of candidates, nor for any disputes arising from the employment relationship. All hiring decisions are made at your sole discretion and risk.

7. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
